I don’t know, maybe thanks to all fanfictions I read, I always thought Phoenix has told Maya to stay at her village and not come to see him after he lost his badge. But it’s really hard to imagine Maya obeying him, so maybe they’re on the road for a secret visit in this drawing… You can write your own story. I’ve written mine above. C:
